Bantwal, May 2: "As the performance of the BJP during the last five years is zero, they are indulging in false propaganda against me," said Puttur Congress candidate Ashok Kumar Rai Kodimbadi.
He spoke during a campaign meeting held at Kallandadka, Kula grama.
"Our grassroots-level activists should be strengthened. They should go to all the houses and explain the party's manifesto," he said.
KPCC secretary M S Mohammed said that the BJP is creating a rift between religions. Senior leader Hemanath Shetty Kavoor said that we should unite for the victory of Ashok Kumar Rai.
Local Congress leaders were present.
Vittal-Uppinangadi block backward group unit president Mohan Gurjinadka welcomed and compered the program.
