Bantwal, May 1: As per the Election Commission of India's directive that people above the age of 80 years and the specially-abled can cast their votes from their residences, postal ballot teams in 25 sector limits, 205 Bantwal Vidhana Sabha block visited the residences of such voters this morning.
The teams consisted of five people including a micro observer, two polling officers, a videographer and a police staffer.
The teams were sent with necessary directions. Election officer Abid Gadyal, assistant election officer Kodaligi, nodal officer Sunita Kumari, master trainer Abdul Razak, assistant tahsildar Navin Kumar, Rajesh Naik, Narendra Nath and staff were present.
