Karkala, Apr 25: NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte is all set to celebrate its College Day and to host one-of-its-kind, national level four-day inter-collegiate Techno-Cultural fest ‘Incridea‘23’ from April 26-29 in the campus.
‘Incridea’ is the National level techno-cultural fest of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte. It is a celebration of all forms of technical and cultural talents amongst students from different parts of the country. It started out with two different events namely Technidarshan and Anandotsava. Now, from the last five years, the college has come up with a novel fest model combining the best of in one mega fest. The fests have managed to attract students from professional colleges all over the country. This year the institute is expecting a footfall of 25000 participants in the campus, with 60 events planned.
This festival, being an annual event of the institute, is ready to showcase the hidden talents of engineering students from all streams who otherwise spend most of their time in taming machines, typing computer codes, burning circuits and in other academic activities. Exhibitions, food stalls, Pro-nites, games etc are the other attractions to be witnessed during this fest.
The College Day function will be inaugurated by Dr A V Ramana, chairman, New Mangalore Port Authority, Panambur and the annual Fest 'Incridea' by Dr Pradeepa V Samaga, academician, renowned Yakshagana artiste on April 26 at 9.30 am in Sadananda Open Air Auditorium, Nitte campus. The function will be presided over by N Vinaya Hegde, chancellor of Nitte Deemed to be University.
