Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School holds summer camp for students I-V class

Mangaluru, Apr 21: Super Summer Mirth, the summer camp for the students of classes I to V began on April 1 with great zeal and enthusiasm and ended on April 20. The finale was grandly organised by enthusiastic teachers of summer camp along with the energetic students. The MC of the day Apoline Lobo welcomed the chief guest of the programme Belita Mascarenhas. The programme started with the prayer song, and Flavia Reena Dcunha welcomed the gathering.

The programme continued with the warm up line dance taught by Lolita Mascarenhas children also learnt that by becoming faster, one can become a master.

Various mesmerising displays like action song on 'Peddana Hendathi', wild animals mid-summer party skit, where animals welcomed other animals in different languages, fashion show, monkey dance, penguin dance, camel dance were part of the show.

Children also got to learn that everybody has a special talent of their own. Vice principal Belita Mascarenhas distributed the certificates.

Rochelle Jasleen Andrade of class 1A gave the feedback and Ridhima Kant of class 1D, and Eva Corderio delivered the vote of thanks for the summer camp and mentioned that they enjoyed the camp and learnt many things.

Children also enjoyed the picnic to Kadri Park and actively took part in the water games which were part of the summer camp.

Various craft learnt during summer camp were displayed. An interesting movie Raya, the last dragon, was viewed by the students. The children loved participating in the LCS Super Summer Mirth as they learnt and enjoyed their time.
