Udupi: Scooter rider injured in road accident succumbs

Udupi, Apr 17: Umesh Shenoy (69), a resident of Herga, who was seriously injured in the road accident, succumbed on April 15.

Umesh Shenoy was going towards Manipal from his residence at Eshwarnagara on April 12. When reached Ashlesha hotel near Manipal, he was thrown of the two wheeler as he was riding too fast and in a negligent manner. Umesh received grievous injuries on his head and was admitted to a private hospital at Manipal. However, he breathed his last on April 15.

A case in this connection is registered in Manipal police station.
