Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School organizes day-long 'Bulbul camp' for grade 1- 4

Mangaluru, Apr 15: To inculcate responsibility, self discipline, belongingness, leadership, life skills and to develop confidence among the students, St Agnes CBSE School organized a day-long 'Bulbul camp' for Grade 1-4 on April 1, in the school campus under the leadership of 3 flock leaders and a cub master.

There were 26 cubs and 74 bulbuls present for the camp.

The camp began with a prayer followed by the Bulbul ring song and Bulbul/Cub law and promise. After that children were divided into 5 groups for different activities like action songs, paper cup painting, colouring and drawing. Inorder to nurture cleanliness and hygiene in their daily life, children were taught the steps of washing their hands and discussed the tips to keep themselves clean.

 

The camp was concluded with the Kalarava ceremony by decorating the scout guide logo with flowers and lit candles. Students enjoyed all the activities and learnt many skills. The morning snacks, delicious lunch and also evening snacks were provided to the students.

Before leaving, the students cleaned the campus. The children were delighted and felt comfortable with the hospitality shown and the way the camp was conducted.
