Mangaluru, Apr 13: Medical Laboratory Professionals' Week was organized by department of MLT on April 11-12 at ISHAVASYAM.
The programme began with the inauguration of MLT week followed by the sessions by Veena Vijaya Raj, district microbiologist on 'Importance of Disease Diagnosis in Community Health Surveillance' and N S Murthy, project director on 'Mechanics of Medical Electronics'.
Various competition were organized for the students of MLT. The programme was concluded by prize distribution and valedictory ceremony.
Principal Prof Pratijna Suhasini G R, vice principal prof Geethalakshmi, HOD of MLT Shiny D’Souza along with teaching staff were present during the event. Around 230 students were present.
