SSLC examinations held at 17 centres in Bantwal taluk

Bantwal, Apr 1: SSLC examinations were held at 17 centres in the taluk on Friday March 31. As many as 5,494 students including 128 repeaters needed to appear for the examination of first language.

However, only 5,453 students appeared on Friday. A total of 29 students and 12 repeaters were absent, informed the department sources.

Zilla panchayat chief executive Dr Kumar visited the Mani Karnataka high school examination centre on Friday.

He held discussions with the officers assigned for the examinations and inspected the actions taken in view of the wellbeing of students. School headmaster B K Bhandary and others were present.
