Bantwal: Voting booths painted with artistic pictures ahead of upcoming state Assembly elections

Bantwal, March 27: Political parties and the district administration are making preparations for the upcoming elections to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The district administration has drawn artistic paintings to attract voters into the polling booths.

The voting booths are being painted with Janapada and ancient arts. District panchayat chief executive Dr Kumar said that about 100 booths are being painted.

“13 booths in schools in Bantwal will be painted. The booths where the voters are less are being chosen. The pictures are being drawn by drawing teachers. The work will continue till April 10,” said Dr Kumar.
