Tannirbavi Tragedy - Two Bodies Fished Out

Mangalore, Jun 25: With recovery of Tilak's body near Ullal sea ground on Saturday June 25 afternoon, the bodies of all the three youth drowned including Deepak and Santosh, whose bodies were fished out earlier, have been found. The youth drowned in the sea at Tannirbavi beach on Thursday evening on Saturday June 25 morning.
Deepak and Santosh's bodies were found deposited on the shore near the estuary here. The bodies have been shifted to the district Wenlock Hospital for post-mortem.
Earlier, the divers had not been able to launch search operation in full because of rough sea and due to which Tilak's body has been recovered on Saturday, it is gathered.

Mangalore, Jun 25: Santosh (21), Deepak (21), and Tilak, who were snatched away by fate in the form of strong waves on Thursday June 23 evening, were the lone male children of their respective families. While Santosh and Deepak were the children of direct sisters, Tilak was their relative. The bodies of these three youngsters are yet to be recovered, in spite of efforts being made to locate them since they drowned.
They stayed at CPC Compound near Urwa Market in the city. Santosh was the son of Gopal Poojary and Parvati, while Deepak was the son of Gopal Poojary and Varija. Tilak was the son of Kamalaksha and Nalini.
Deepak, only child of his parents, stayed at Mumbai with his father, who operate a hotel there. Gopal Pooojary came to the city on June 9 to take part in the post-funeral rituals of his mother, who had died recently, scheduled to be held on June 22. The family was to return to Mumbai on Sunday, if everything had gone as planned. Deepak, who had completed B Com degree course, was awaiting the result.
Santosh was the only offspring of his parents, and was working as technician in Arvind Motors, Kulur, after completing training in a vocation course at Karnataka Polytechnic here. His father, who worked as a labourer earlier, stopped working sometime back, after health complications did not permit him to do manual work.
Tilak’s parents have, apart from their only son who drowned, two daughters, who are married. Tilak was working as technician in Tribhuvan Motors till recently. His father, Kamalaksha, works as a painter of homes and buildings, and Tilak, who stopped working for his firm sometime back, had begun accompanying his father in his work.
The three youth had visited Tannirbavi beach with some other friends in a tempo. Circle police inspector, Valentine D’Souza, is coordinating the efforts to find the bodies of these three youth. Police commissioner, Seemant Kumar Singh, has sought the help of Coast Guard to search for the bodies in the deep sea.
