Mumbai, Mar 24: The joint meeting of five zonal executive committees of Dharmastala Manjunatheshwara Bhajana Parishad was presided over by its Mumbai unit trustee Devu B Poojary at Dattatreya Durgambika Mandira auditorium, Asalfa on March 22.
He said that it is intended to hold a programme including more than five thousand camp participants at Mumbai.
Honorary chief secretary Ravindra Shanti welcomed and gave an introduction. He said that the unit is preparing to celebrate its first anniversary and sought the opinion of the gathering for it.
Sangeeta Visharadhe Mamatha Gatty said that the intention of the unit will be fulfilled if the camp participants are provided detailed guidance of the pitch and timings of Bhajans. She assured her cooperation in that respect.
Bhuvani Ramesh Ameen of Mira Road Laxminarayana Bhajana mandala said that the programme proposed by the president will be successful without doubt as about 70 to 80 local associations in the vicinity will be providing support for it.
Office bearer Sudarshan said that it is necessary to provide the messages of Bhajans along with the training. Indira Shetty of Navi Mumbai Nerul said that religious thinkers of other religions should be included in the zone for monetary strength.
Dahisar Dahanu zonal secretary Vasanth Shetty congratulated Praful Sreyan and Shantaram Putran for having trained the camp participants in Bhajans.
Mumbai unit vice president V K Suvarna and Nagesh S Suvarna called on everybody to be determined for the success of the proposed programme.
Sarojini, Jyothi Nayak, Shakuntala Kotian, Shyama Putran, Dhananjay Shetty, Priya Shetty and Krishna Shetty gave their opinions for the success of the programme.
Joint secretary Sridhar Shetty, treasurer Shantaram Putran and other office bearers were on the dais.
Honorary chief secretary Ravindra Shanti compered the programme and rendered a vote of thanks.
