Bhatkal, Jun 22: A farmer drowned in a pool here in Bengre village of Bhatkal taluk.

The incident occurred when the farmer went for a bath in the pool after finishing his work.

There were no eye witnesses as the place was isolated at the time of the incident.

The case is being investigated by the Bhatkal rural police.
