Mumbai (RBI), Mar 20: Ryan Global School, Andheri celebrated their Annual & Graduation Day at St Andrew’s Auditorium, Bandra. The chief guest Ehsaan Noorani, well-renowned music director and guests of honour Mini Menon, Indian journalist and co-founder editor of ‘Live History India’, Mridula Oberoi television actor, Commodore Biman Mistry, retired Navy officer, and Dr Snheal Pinto, director, Ryan International Group of schools and parents, grandparents, friends and family, added glory to the event, celebrating students talent and achievements.

The entire auditorium was roaring with the sounds resonating with the glitz and glamour of the city of Mumbai. The wonderful host for the evening was Shibani Sharma, head Ryan TV and Hunarr Kherajani rade 8 & Suhaan Rehintulla grade 6 welcomed the distinguished guests and parents in their unique style.

The event began with a spotlight on our school band opening the curtains with a live musical performance of the song ‘It's a Beautiful Day’ followed by taking Almighty's blessing and singing to his praises. The students prepared a multilingual welcome for our dignitaries in 5 different languages from across the globe. The gathering also witnessed the celebration of the graduating class of 2023 Early Year 2, Grade 5 & Grade 10 & Grade 12. It was an indeed emotional moment for parents and teachers to witness their class of 2023 dressed in blue graduation gowns and hats.

The event also witnessed the release of the school magazine ‘Fenetre’ which encapsulates year-long school events for the academic year capturing their imagination, skills and creativity. The annual day celebrations were based on the theme - of resilient Mumbai named 'Mumbai Medley' which was directed and choreographed by Carl Mendes - director - of Performers Platform & Rishab Totlani, founder of RT Dance Academy. The drama they presented was a tale of the city of dreams and the people who revolved echoed ‘Mumbai Meri Hai’ representing Mumbai throughout the year round. The trawling performance put up by the early years dancing the beat the summer hot humid weather of Mumbai to the grade 1 dancing to the music of diamonds and fashion, Grade 2 & 3 came from coasts of Mumbai 'the kolis' with grade 4& 5 joining them on the rock around the clock by the dabbawalas of Mumbai.

The grade 6 students making everybody dance to the musical notes of kung fu fighting and raising a salute for the Mumbai police who stand with Mumbaikars 24x7. They also had Grade 7 put up a melodies performance Mumbai meri hai and Grade 8 singing in the rain. A show-stopper performance was given by Grade 9 students dancing to celebrate the world of cinema, and Bollywood and leaving the audience asking for more. A musical performance by Grade AS & A level celebrated the transition of the festivals throughout the year and added the culture and diversity they celebrate in the city. The event came to an end with Grade 10 students welcoming everyone to their city with a dance performance on 'In my city'. The vote of thanks brought the event to a close with director Dr Snehal Pinto expressing gratitude and acknowledging the hard work put in by the team and the support and cooperation of the parent community. The event concluded with the bang finale performance followed by the team receiving an outpour of parent testimonials appreciating the event. This was a memorable annual day as they celebrated the moment on the annual stage after a gap of 3 years post covid making it an impeccable performance which is cherished forever. It was only under the guidance of the mentors - founder chairman Dr A F Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto that all witnessed a grand success.
