Puttur, Jun 17: Vishnu Mayur, a second PU student of Vivekananda PU College here, had disappointment in store, when results of the second PU public examination were announced. Because, he had secured only 530 marks out of 600, which was much below his expectations.
The student, after observing that the marks he was allotted for computer science and business studies subjects were considerably lower than what he expected, applied for revaluation. The revaluation result has proved that the answer sheet valuators had committed blunders. While Mayur got 23 more marks under computer sciences, taking his marks to 94 as against 71, he got ten more marks under business studies, which means that his new marks for the subject swelled to 88 as compared to 78.
With this revaluation, Mayur’s total marks in second PU have soared to 563 out of 600 from the previous 530.
