Mumbai, Mar 6: Mayuravarma Samskritika Prathistana held a ladies get together titled ‘Tavaru Maneya Bandavya’ at Kannada welfare society auditorium, Ghatkoper east on Sunday evening, March 5. Nalina Prasad, Mumbai based singer presided and inaugurated the programme.
Stree Shakti foundation Mira Bhayandar president Shalini Shetty, Kannada welfare society ladies wing president Sujala Shetty and retired professor Venkatesh Pai were the guests of honour. The programme was held under the cooperation of Kannada welfare society.
Shailaja Hegde, Lakshmi Heroor, Lalita Angadi and Vedavathi Bhat spoke about the ancient and historic women, Latha Santhosh Shetty Muddumane spoke about women in advertising field, Kumuda Alva spoke about the part of parents in the growth of children, Dr G P Kusuma spoke about the attachment of women to their parents families, Vani Shetty spoke about educated women in the future and Sujatha Shetty tabled her thoughts on modern women.
Prathistana vice president Sindhoora Rajesh Gowda, honorary treasurer and joint secretary Padmanabha Safaliga, Sudhugha Dodmane, Kannada welfare society president Navin Shetty Innabalike, Shanta S Shetty Nandalike, Narayana Rao and others were present.
Malati Putran and the group sang a prayer and welcomed. Mayuravarma Prathistana chief secretary Vishwanath Dodmane gave an introduction. Shanti Udupa and party presented Geeta Gayana programme. Suresh Shetty Kananjar compered the programme and rendered a vote of thanks.
