Udupi, Feb 27: “BJP will come to power with a full majority in the Assembly elections by winning 150 seats in the state including five seats in the district,” said Tamil Nadu state BJP president and state Vidhana Sabha election in-charge Annamalai.
Speaking during his visit to the district BJP office on Monday, February 27, he said that the progress chariot is moving in five Vidhana Sabha constituencies of the district.
“The opposition party is only making allegations. There is no need for our workers to answer those allegations levelled by the Congress party. Congress plans to make Karnataka as its ATM. It has planned to spend 10% of the budget for the next elections. Congress should realise that they have use the mouth to speak and not to falsehood or tell lies. They are making false promises that they will give Rs 1,000 for girls. But the BJP is doing a lot of development. We have a double engine government. Karnataka is number one in education, GST, tax and business. We will make our work reach the people,” he said.
MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Haladi Srinivas Shetty, state BJP vice-president Nayana Ganesh, backward morcha national chief secretary Yahpal Suvarna, Udupi Mangaluru division in-charge Udaya Kumar Shetty, Udupi municipal council president Sumitra R Nayak, district BJP chief secretary Manohar Kalmadi were present.
