Mumbai, Jun 15 (PTI) As sulking BJP leader Gopinath Munde kept everyone guessing about his future plans, his supporters are queuing up at his residence in Worli to show solidarity with their leader.
"Munde is a leader of the masses. He should be accorded due respect," Prakash Shendge BJP MLA from Sangli and a staunch Munde loyalist, said outside the latter's residence 'Poorna'.
However, Munde, BJP's deputy leader in Lok Sabha, is not saying much.
"Workers are meeting me and asking me about the weather. How much rainfall has been there so far... How much more will it rain," he told reporters.
With the state BJP's biggest crowd puller staying away from the recent BJP-Sena-RPI rally and also not showing up at three earlier such rallies, speculation is rife over what Munde's next course of action will be in the backdrop his apparent differences with party chief Nitin Gadkari.
