Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 19: The BJP workers put up posters in various parts of the city which said “BJP is the assurance” (BJP ye Bharavase).

However, some anti-BJP slogans were overlapped on the same posters. The posters which read ‘Bharavase Bharavase Burude Bharavase Saaku Kivi Mele Hoova’(Enough of false assurances; Flowers on the ears)  were found on the pro BJP communiques. In these posters a flower can be seen on the ear of a human face This generally represents a duped or fooled person.

Meanwhile, Congress has begun ‘Kivi Mele Hoova’ (Flower on ear) poster campaign from Friday.

Miscreants tear flex banners welcoming BJP president JP Nadda in Udupi

Miscreants tore the banners that were put up in the Udupi city welcoming BJP national president J P Nadda.

Nadda is scheduled to visit the city on Monday and take part in the party programmes that will be held at MGM college grounds and Byndoor.

Various flex and buntings welcoming Nadda have been put up by district BJP all over the city. Out of these, the flexes displayed at Bannanje have been torn by the miscreants.

Udupi district BJP has filed a complaint in this regard in city police station. These banners are suspected to be torn on the late night of Saturday.
