Mumbai, Feb 13: The Yuvabhyudaya samithi of Billawar association Mumbai held Koti Chennaya – 2023 annual sports meet at the Mumbai university sports ground, Marine Lines west on the morning of Feb 12. The association president Harish G Ameen presided over the meet and set it in motion.
Well known Vastu expert Ashok Purohit lighted the sports lamp brought by Jyothi Pavan Poojary and team. He said that participation in the competitions is more important than winning them.
Senior social worker, Sadguru Nithyananda Seva Sangha Badlapur president Bhasker Shetty CBD, Forest creators foundation Mumbai director, Billavar Chamber of Commerce and Industry president N T Poojary, Karnataka Rajyotsava award recipient, former president of Bahrain Billawas Rajkumar Bahrain, Tulunada Aisiri Vapi trustee Dr R K Nayar and Bharath Bank director, advocate Raja V Salian were the guests of honour.
Bharath Bank director Purushotham S Kotian, Premanath P Kotian, Mohandas A Poojary, Brahma Baidarkala Pancha Dhoomavati Garodi Seva Trust Mumbai vice president D B Ameen, entrepreneurs Devendra V Bangera and Rithesh Poojary were on the dais. KPCC Dakshina Kannada youth president Mithun Rai and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
President Harish Ameen received the honour of March past, hoisted the flag, honoured the guests and inaugurated the meet.
Association vice president Shanker D Poojary, Dharmapal G Anchan, K Suresh Kumar, honorary chief secretary Harish G Salian, honorary chief treasurer Rajesh J Bangera, Yuvabhyudaya president Nilesh Poojary Palimar, honorary secretary Navin L Bangera, association sub committees, local committees, dignitaries from Bharath Bank and Seva Dal were present. A large number of sports enthusiasts took part in the competitions.
Muddu Anchan sang a prayer. Yuvabhyudaya committee president Nilesh Poojary welcomed. Harish G Salian gave an introduction, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Navin L Bangera rendered a vote of thanks. International sportsperson Dayananda Kumar was the judge. Ravi Sanil Dombivli, Harini N Palimar and others conducted the sports.
