Puttur, Jun 6: The protest by Bajrang Dal in Puttur bus stand to condemn Ramdev Baba’s detention, countered oppose from town station sub-inspector.

The road was blocked by Bajrang Dal activists. But SI Ravikumar claimed that the protestors had not taken permission to hold ‘rasta roko’. With the intervention of Puttur traffic SI Nagesh Kadri there was a compromise between the partied and situation came under control.

Town municipality vice-president Vinay Bhandary, Bajrang Dal district vice-convenor Madhava Poojary, Devdas and Rajesh among others were present at the protest.
