Mangaluru, Dec 9: A document writer from Puttur has raised a complaint with the district administration of Dakshina Kannada and chief secretary of state accusing Hindustan Petroleum Company Limited (HPCL) of sending their personnel for house visit of consumers on the pretext of inspecting the cooking gas cylinder and collecting service fee for the same.
R K Pangannaya, is the person who has written complaints on HPCL company. However, responding to the complaint raised by Pangannaya, a senior officer of HPCL said, “Every gas supplying company visits the houses of their consumer, once in every five years to ensure safety of gas cylinders and equipment and also take service charges for the same.”
