Udupi, May 19: Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank organized Melwyn Peris Nite, Konkani musical extravaganza, in association with Milagres parish council, Kallianpur, to mark the centenary celebrations of the Bank at Kallianpur parish hall here, recently.

MCC Bank vice-president Dr Edward Nazareth, Kallianpur parish priest Fr Marcel Saldanha were the chief guests during the stage programme.

Dr Edward Nazareth briefed on various plans that are launched by the bank for the customers, during the centenary year.  

Melwyn Peris, Nestor Peris, Prakash D’Souza Bajpe, Lavita Lobo, Anita Samson, Babitha Pinto, Joseph Pinto and other musicians enthralled the gathering with their melodious singing.

Sangeet Guru Joel Pereira was the music director of Melwyn Peris Nite.

Naach Sobhann, dance group staged variety dance show, while Koroz – mimicry troupe that is promoted by Nellu Permannur entertained the gathering.

Leslie Rego and Dolla compered the programme.
