Bantwal, Nov 14: Members of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) waylaid an auto rickshaw in which a calf was being transported for slaughtering and caught hold of the accused and handed them over to the police.
This incident was reported from Thenkabelloor. The auto rickshaw was moving from Kallugudde to Ammunje, when the HJV workers stopped it at Thenkabelloor and handed over accused Gopal and Rafeez to the police.

In another incident that occurred at Kanyana near Vittal, HJV activists caught hold of Mohammed and Masood, who were transporting a calf and handed them over to the police.
