Mumbai, May 12: Those who have in-depth knowledge about a specific topic and deeply love what they are doing can embark on research on the same topic. Their contributions will ever remain for generations together. In this context, the thesis presented by Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu on Kannada theatre in metro indeed has all these qualities that distinguish him as an accomplished researcher, said theatre expert Dr B R Manjunath.
Dr Manjunath was speaking at the felicitation programme organized by Mogaveera Vyavastapaka Mandali to celebrate bagging of doctorate by Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu from Mumbai University, during a function held at Mogaveer Bhavan A V Conference Hall, here recently.
Dr G N Upadhya, head of department of Kannada at Mumbai University assisted Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu in his research work.
Kannada litterateur Dr Sunita Shetty, Mogaveera Vyavastapak Mandali president Ajit G Suvarna, vice-president P R Salian felicitated Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu on the occasion.
Mogaveera Vyavastapaka Mandali president Ajit G Suvarna in his presidential address commended the scholastic capabilities of Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu, who had accomplished the thesis out of his determination, in the midst of chaos of daily living.
The mandali honorary secretary H Arun Kumar welcomed the gathering. Dayavati Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks. Ashok Suvarna compered the programme.
