Bangalore, May 9: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), which has of late, been introducing new facilities and services for its customers, has added another feather to its cap by extending ticket booking facility to the finger tips of the people. It has enabled the prospective bus travellers to book KSRTC tickets by using their mobile phones. This facility saves the time and efforts a person puts in for reaching the nearest KSRTC booking counter, stand in queue, and get his or her ticket. The officials of KSRTC affirm that this requires less than two minutes.

Those who want tickets in the buses run by the corporation have to access the website of KSRTC. There is no need to download any software to their mobile. Those having GPRS facility in their mobile phones can log in to the website, ksrtc.in/mobile, or http://m.ksrtc.in to book their tickets.

They can also use their mobiles to cancel their tickets. They will also get confirmation about the booking of their tickets on their mobiles, a release from KSRTC said.
