Mangalore: Railways Introduces Summer Special Between City and Mumbai

Mangalore, May 6: The department of railways has introduced a summer special train between Mumbai CST and Mangalore Junction stations between May 5 and June 5. This train will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It leaves Mumbai at 22.15 and reaches the city at 12.25 the next day.

This train will undertake its return journey between May 6 and June 6, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. It leaves Mangalore Junction (Kankanady) station at 14 hours and reaches Mumbai at 4.30 the next day.

This train has a two-tier AC, four three-tier AC, 11 sleeper class, two general second class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. It will stop at Thane, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Kankolim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Byndoor, Udupi and Suratkal stations, a release from the railways said.
