Udupi: CM, Home Minister to Visit District on May 8

Udupi, May 6: State Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, will be visiting the town at 8.30 pm on Sunday May 8. He will stay overnight here, and take part in the Atirudra Yaga being organized at Kutyar Sri Parashurameshwara Temple at 7 pm on Monday.

The CM will leave for Sagar at 10 am through helicopter on Monday.

Home minister, R Ashok, will come to Udupi to take part in the Upanayanam (sacred thread) ceremony of MLA, K Raghupati Bhat’s son being held at 10.20 am on May 8.

In the meanwhile, a release from the office of the district in-charge minister, Dr V S Acharya, said that all his engagements from May  6 to  8 have been cancelled, as he has suffered a sprain of the shoulder, after he accidentally fell down at his home.
