Puttur: Woman Crushed by Mangalore-Bangalore Train

Puttur, May 5: A woman, who was trying to cross the railway tracks near Nehru Nagar in the town, was crushed by the Mangalore-Bangalore train on Wednesday May 4.

The victim has been identified as Rajalakshmi (60), a native of Tamil Nadu. She used to stay with her son, who has been a resident of the town since the last two decades. He carries out petty trade in the town.

Rajalakshmi was walking towards the town to buy some items, when she lost her life.
