Mangalore, May 1: St Joseph Church, Jeppu Celebrated the parish feast here on Sunday May 1.
St Joseph’s Statue was blessed at Joseph Nagar followed by a procession.
During the blessing parish priest Fr Andrew said that it’s a triple celebration for the parishioners. Firstly Pope John Paul II has been rewarded as the saint. Second being workers’ Day and then the feast of the parish. He added that the day should be celebrated with joy and happiness.
Later the parishioners celebrated holy Eucharistic mass. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director of Fr Mullers’ hospital was the main celebrant of the mass. In his ceremony he said God has showered his blessings through many ways and mankind has witnessed it in many ways.
