Mangaluru, Oct 3: The titular feast of the guardian angel was celebrated with pomp at the Guardian Angel Church, Angelore Naguri on October 2. On the eve of the feast, a mass followed by vespers. Fr Clifford Fernandes, parish priest, Kulshekar, concelebrated the mass along with Fr. William Menezes, parish priest and Fr Lawrence Cutinha, assistant parish priest.

Keeping with the tradition, the members of the Parish Pastoral Council, sponsors, donors and the persons who had rendered selfless service to the parish during the last year were given candles of honour.

Fr James D’Souza, vicar forane of city deanery and parish priest, Vamanjoor church concelebrated the festive mass along with Fr William Menezes, Fr Lawrence Cutinha and Fr Anil Fernandes, director, Canara Communication Centre.

The Eucharistic celebration was followed by various entertainment programmes in the premises of the church. The members of Angelore Youth Movement and Young Catholic Students entertained the parishioners with various games. There were also food counters to tickle the taste buds of the parishioners.
