Mangaluru: Malali mosque controversy - Verdict on September 27

Mangaluru, Sep 23: Third additional civil court of the city, which is conducting inquiry on several petitions with regard to the renovation of Malali mosque, will pronounce its verdict on September 27.

The court will also take out an order on the limits of authority of the court with regard to maintainability of the suit for permanent injunction.

The high court had earlier directed the city court to conduct inquiry of the remaining petitions only after taking out this order.

    Totally unwarranted and unnecessary controversy sponsored by the vested interests... Courts are burdened by extra work when they have yet to deliver years old humanitarian cases... This is the ploy of the bajapa to keep the so called flock together... Such temporary ploy of polarization of societies for vote bank will not bring any good in the long run... Our courts are prudent enough to take righteous call...
