Beltangady: Suspected Naxal Activity – Intensive Combing in Forest

Beltangady, Apr 20: On the suspicion that a naxal training centre has been operating in thick forest region, about 18 kms away from Kutloor in the taluk, policemen of Anti Naxal Force on Tuesday April 19, conducted intensive combing in the forest area.

They were supported by police personnel drawn from police forces stationed in Chikmagalur, Shimoga, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi districts. It is gathered that about 200 policemen were involved with this task.
