Kundapur, Apr 18: In an accident involving a motor bike and an auto rickshaw that occurred near Aralgudde bend near Kody here on Sunday April 17 evening, the motor bike rider lost his life. He has been identified as Raghavendra Shettigar (30), a resident of Moodukeri in Basrur near here.
The motor bike was moving towards Kundapur from Kody beach, while the rickshaw was moving in the opposition direction. Due to the impact of the collision, the pillion rider of the motor bike was tossed away. He was admitted into Manipal Hospital with grave injuries.
A person named Prashant from Kody, who was travelling in the rickshaw, was also injured. A case was registered in the traffic police station here in this connection.
