Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Apr 15: All India Congress Committee released a fresh list of office bearers of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Thursday April 14. While KPCC president, Dr G Parameshwar, claimed that the new team office bearers will rejuvenate the party and work as catalyst for the ouster of the BJP regime in the state, discordant notes are also heard from various quarters.

The committee has been reconstituted afresh after a gap of 12 years. Most of the members are either former ministers or legislators. The list is as follows:

Reportedly, the list of those who are aggrieved by this jumbo list is very long. It is learnt that leader of the opposition in the assembly, Siddaramaiah, is peeved over being booted out of the Election Committee, which has a crucial role, and his supporters having been sideliened while drafting the new list. When contacted, he said he does not want to discuss this issue on the streets. Protesting against not being named, MLC from Kodagu and former minister, T John, resigned from his KPCC membership. “I worked day and night for the party, but this has not been recognized. Minorities in Kodagu have been neglected. This has hurt me. Hence I am resigning from my KPCC membership,” he said in a letter addressed to KPCC president, Dr G Parameshwar.

obviously, anyone will be upset. If a person who has jumped from another party and also lost the last election has been made a office bearer, it is sure that a congress worker by birth is not been given any post will definetly lead to discontentment.

If Congress wants to win the next general election, the party should /elect the would be MLA Or MP Candidates before two years. So that he can nurish his Constitution well in advance by informing the voters his development schemes etc. Yes, there id the possibility of leaving or desertin some party workers for not giving the sear but the ed candidate will have sufficient time to educates the people of his develompment schems and people also get good time to judge the candidate.
