They explained to the court the losses the farmers will have to face if the ban on plastic gutkha sachets continues.

Gujarat Tobacco Association has also filed a petition against ban on gutkha sachets.

The bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Justice Singhvi and Justice Radhakrishna, which heard the arguments, has posted the hearing of the petitions to July 20. in my view , its just a wrong decision of SC.B/C pollution is not going to stop by just banning plastic packing of gutkha.chips , many FMCG products which r easily packed in other materal r still sold in plastic.other thing if plastic is banned for gutkhs then they use other material
    which will also cause pollution.
