Bantwal: Entrepreneurial Awareness Camp Held in City

Bantwal, Apr 14: Under the aegis of the Dakshina Kannada district Industrial Centre – Mangalore, Bantwal taluk panchayat, Bantwal Engineers Association ®, and Bantwal taluk NSS of First Grade College, an entrepreneurial awareness camp was held at the taluk panchayat auditorium on Tuesday April 12.

Bantwal Urban Development Authority chairman A Govind Prabhu inaugurated the camp on Tuesday.



Speaking on the occasion, Prabhu called on the youth to make the best use of various schemes introduced by both union and state government to encourage them to explore their entrepreneurial skills. 

Bantwal MLA B Ramanath Rai presided over the programme.  He said that the youth should follow the example of successful entrepreneurs hailing from Dakshina Kannada who are excelling in various businesses in the country. 

Dakshina Kannada district Industrial Centre deputy director P Nagesh, CEO Vasantraj Shetty, Bantwal Engineers Association past president civil engineer Ganesh Amtoor, Far Construction Directory Mangalore managing director engineer Munavar Rehman Assadi, NSS officer Nandakishore A, and district Industrial Centre assistant director Gopal Rao were also present on the occasion.

Bantwal taluk Engineers Association president Anand Banjan welcomed the gathering.  Industrial development officer G Vaman Naik proposed the vote of thanks.  Student Kirtiraj compered the programme.
