Chikmagalur, Apr 12: “There is no dissidence within the state BJP. It is just a creation of the media and opposition leaders,” state Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, said. He was speaking to the media persons at the helipad here, on his arrival for taking part in the ‘Poornahuti’ of ‘Ayata Maha Chandiyaga’ organized at Sri Shankara Mutt here on the occasion of attaining 61st birth anniversary of the spiritual head of Sri Sharada Peetha, Sri Bharatiteertha Swamiji, on Monday April 11.
The Chief Minister said that the state BJP chief, K S Eshwarappa, has been actively involved with the building of the organizational network of the party. He exuded the confidence that the results of the bypolls held in three constituencies in the state will affectively seal the lips of the opposition leaders.
Replying to the controversial issue of export ban on mining, he said that the central government needs to extend support the states in the preservation of natural wealth like minerals. He said the state will go on an appeal to the Supreme Court before April 20 on this issue.
