Beltangady: Postman Commits Suicide

Beltangady, Apr 12: The body of Babu Dasa (43), working as postman in the main post office here, was found in a lifeless state on Monday April 11. It appears that he committed suicide.

He is survived by wife and two sons. Babu was working here since the last 25 years, and had gone missing after work hours on Saturday. His body was found in Daddalapalke in Kapinadka, about a km away from Himaradda in Tenkakarandoor village, which happens to be the native place of his mother.

Apparently, he had consumed either sleeping tablets or poison to end his life. Investigation is on.

    my heart felt condolences to the post man's family, poor guy because of money problem he comitted sucide,i know my early age post man are getting very low salary, no other benifit from the goverment,top position people in govt department are only making money by bribe,poor people like post man are don't have any other income
