Bangalore, Apr 11 (PTI): Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday said he would expand his ministry next month after the results of by-elections to three assembly seats.
The results of the April nine by-polls to Chennapatna, Jagalur and Bangarpet constituencies will be declared on May 13.
Yeddyurappa, who has been facing renewed dissidence by partymen who have been demanding change in his leadership, had last month spoken about the expansion of his ministry after the By-polls.
The chief minister told reporters here that he would go in for ministry expansion after consulting with BJP president Nitin Gadkari.
He also said the state would file a petition before the Supreme Court in two or three days challenging its order to revoke the ban imposed on iron ore exports by April 20.
The state's Advocate General Ashok Harnalli will file the petition, he said.
