Mangaluru, Aug 10: An orientation on Occupational English Test (OET) was held by Canara Organization for Development & Peace® (CODP)and Edu Skills International on August 9 at CODP Mangaluru. Sessions were organized for Health Professionals on OET.
Fr Vincent D Souza, director of CODP and CODP/ISD staff were present. Lenet Gonsalves, programme manager of CODP; first gave a brief introduction about CODP. Thereafter, Fr Vincent spoke about the day’s orientation. He mentioned about the importance and benefits of the programme.
Resource person of the day’s session was Fr Saleen Joseph, certified tutor for OET. Brain storming activities were conducted for the students in order to engage them. All the sessions which were organized turned out to be very informative and helpful for the students.
Altogether 77 students participated, 215 who filled up Google forms were watching the programme online. Scores of people from different countries like UK, Riyadh, Kuwait, Australia were connected online with the orientation batch.
