Mangalore: Patient Commits Suicide in Hospital

Mangalore, Apr 8: Sanjeev Poojary (59) from Niddoy village, who had been admitted into the government hospital in Karnad village in the taluk, committed suicide on Thursday April 7 morning.

He hanged himself from the rod of a window in the ward of the hospital Poojary was being treated for elephantiasis and diabetes.

In a suicide note left behind, he said that he was fed up with his life because of these debilitating diseases, and hence, had decided to end his life.
