Mangaluru: Graduation day of Chetana's Education Foundation held

Mangaluru, Jul 28: The graduation day of Chetana's Education Foundation, part of Chetana's Beauty Lounge was held at Swastika National School on Thursday, July 28.

The graduation day was inaugurated by Dr Raghavendra Holla N, chairman of Swastika National School.

More than 40 students graduated from Chetana's Education Foundation. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Raghavendra Holla N said, “You have the art to beautify others. The graduation certifcate is only 5 to 10% and the remaining 90% you should add your love, passion towards that certificate. The certificate is just a certification and the first stage towards your profession. You should create a brand for your work and people will accept it.” 

Sinchana Urubail, CEO and partner of Suddi Bidugade and Suddi News Belthangady, said,”the feedback from the students is the biggest award for Chetana, professionally and personally. The way you carry your personality matters the most. You groom yourself and groom others as well which is an art.” 

Jagadish, proprietor of Beauty Planet said, “I know Chetana for more than 30 years and she has now turned professional who provides good education for students. The participants need to be like a brand and be a beauty doctor.” 

In her presidential address, founder of Chetana's Education Foundation, Chetana S said, “The beauty workshop was conducted for the last 2 months. You need to change your thought process to move forward. I have been in this profession for 25 years and I have seen many flaws in this profession such as people having a bad opinion about the profession itself which needs to be changed.”

One of the participants said the quality of education provided by Chetana's made her and others feel comfortable. 

Shilpa Kamath said,'I was inspired by Chetana’s work. I wanted to learn from her as she speaks not only about beauty but also about life, career and motivates us.”

Cosmetologist and make-up artist Harmeet Kaur Anand said, “You need to start valuing yourself. You have to share your knowledge with others which makes you grow and others as well.

Bhavana is a beneficiary of Inchara Foundation which is an NGO that takes care of children who are in need of care and protection. 

Sharadha Jelly cosmetology course, micro blading, permanent make-up, nail art, eyelash extension, basic to advanced make-up course, basic to advance bridal make-up course, basic to advanced hair style course and flower-making were some of the courses conducted over the last two months. 

Pooja Rao welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks besides compering the event.
