Mangaluru, Jul 24: The passengers from Mysuru to Mangaluru were stranded in the middle of a village in Mysuru district after the KSRTC Airavat they were travelling in stopped due to technical problems. The passengers had to alight from the faulty bus in Manoganahalli on the Sunday, July 24 late evening.
It is said that after one Airavat bus stopped due to technical reasons, a replacement was sent. But, even that stopped and yet, KSRTC did not give up. It summoned the third Airavat. However KSRTC staffs' perseverance turned out to be a damp squib with the third bus also not budging an inch.
Speaking to daijiworld.com, a passenger D Ashok said. " Passengers who are commuting on the bus are on the road. The KSRTC has not taken any initiative to send commuters to reach their destination."
