Karnataka reports 1209 fresh Covid cases, one death reported in a single day

Bengaluru, Jul 14: Karnataka on Thursday, July 14, reported 1,209 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 6,739. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally at 1068.

One death was reported due to coronavirus in the state on Thursday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,084.

The state recorded 1072 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 39,36,160.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,83,025 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
