Karnataka reports 1,053 fresh Covid cases, day’s positivity rate at 3.88 percent

Bengaluru, Jul 7: Karnataka on Thursday July 7, reported 1,053 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 6,454. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally at 966.

No deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Thursday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,080.

The state recorded 1080 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 39,29,477.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,76,053 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
