Bengaluru, July 3: The State Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education (DCTE) has issued a circular ordering all higher educational institutions, colleges and technical education to ensure the success of Union Government’s ‘’Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the national tricolour on the buildings from August 11 to 17, this year to mark the Amritothsav of Indian Independence.
Higher Education Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan has urged all citizens to hoist the national flag atop their houses while asking all colleges and institutions coming under the purview of the universities in the State, including diploma, aided and unaided colleges to display their national pride by hoisting the national flag.
The educational institutions have been asked to enlighten the students at the end of classes and display notices on their respective notice boards about hoisting the national flag on all vehicles as well. The posters and banners available on the amritmahothsav.nic.in website under the heading ’Har Ghar Tiranga’ can be used, the circular says.
