Kundapur, Jul 2: Pratapchandra Shetty Halnadu is selected for chief minister’s prestigious award for 2021-22. Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai presented the award to him in the programme held at Vidhan Soudha Banquet hall on July 1.

Pratapchandra Shetty works in Mangaluru’s divisional goods and service tax office as the inspector. The award is presented to him considering his work in collection of GST, administration of tax, creating awareness on tax laws, identifying the network of tax evaders and taking legal action against them.
