Udupi, Jun 30: The activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal staged protest in front of the DC’s office Manipal here on Thursday June 30, condemning the Udaipur incident.
Shyamala Kunder, member of National Commissioner for Women said, “Hindus should protect themselves. A separate country was given to the Muslim, but they have made Hindus destitute there in Pakistan. We never harmed Muslims because Hindu religion taught us 'Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu'. We should live together in India.
“We did a big mistake during partition. If we had driven out the Muslims in this country at that time, we would not have arrived at this situation. An innocent tailor Kanhaiya would not die. The Rajasthan police department has completely failed in protecting him. I condemn Rajasthan government for this. Though his murderers were in front of him as customers, he trusted them blindly.
“If Muslims are really willing to stay here respecting Hindus, we will co-operate. Otherwise, let them to go to their country. They are not ready to agree to believe God, Eshwar and Allah are same. It is impossible for them. Unity in diversity is the slogan of Indians, but Muslim want to make India as Diversity in Unity. There is no space for people who do not respect Hindus and the Hindu society,” she said.
Poornima Suresh Nayak, Veena Shetty, Sandhya, Neetha Prabhu, Dinesh Mendon and others were present.
