Panaji, March 16 (IANS) In a bid to make Goa "terror ready", all major roads will soon be monitored by unmanned surveillance cameras, according to the Economic Survey tabled in the state assembly Wednesday.
"The surveillance project would ensure setting up of unmanned surveillance cameras at major roads and junctions, public places, places of strategic importance," the report says.
"With increased security and terrorism threats in the country, building a comprehensive surveillance system is critical for enhancing safety and security of citizens and assets," it said.
