Udupi, June 14: “Is there a different law for Congress party and the ordinary people in the country? The statement has to be given in the court when called. The innocents will come out. The guilty will be punished. There is no need to protest. Congress party will go astray by taking the wrong path,” said state home minister Araga Jnanendra here when asked about the raids on Rahul Gandhi family.
“The anti conversion law is already passed in the Vidhan Parishat. The Anti cattle slaughter Act has already been passed. There are more bills to pass. We are making a list of them,” he said.
Speaking about using "bulldozer weapon" in the state like in UP, he said that there were no such incidents as of now. “There is a difference between Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. As law is being observed in the state, there is no question of using the weapon,” he said.
